# Our Mission

Ember sets out to onboard the next billion Users into Web3 - we believe that the current state of the NFT market does not properly reflect the deep utility that NFTs can offer. By introducing the first of its kind own-to-earn, sharing economy in the world of non-fungible tokens, Ember seeks to redefine the entire NFT market, allowing users to access any NFT, and eliminating the barriers to entry that prevent mainstream adoption. At the same time, NFT owners are rewarded with passive income, generated through the renting of their digital assets, and unlocking billions in value for the entire ecosystem and its Users.

Ember is paving the way for NFTs 2.0, building on the current NFT standards which are limited to the buying and selling of digital assets. The future of Web3 includes Gamers, brands, Guilds, retailers, artists, creators, investors, and average joes, all transacting, sharing, building and using NFTs. By offering the infrastructure for sharing NFTs, Ember contributes to the maturation of the digital ecosystem by allowing new kinds of exchanges & transactions which give users the choice and the opportunity to take full advantage of NFTs creating new possibilities in the way that NFTs can be used. This new innovation is the next phase in the scaling of Web3, allowing everyone to get onboard.
